This is a Temporary, Full Time vacancy that will close in {x} days at {xx:xx} BST.

Reporting directly to the In-house Lawyer, this dynamic role offers a unique opportunity to be at the forefront of providing essential legal guidance in a regulatory environment that spans several industry sectors. As a key contributor to the legal team, the role holder will engage in a variety of stimulating legal areas, including:

  • Dispute resolution,
  • Handling both in-house and external legal queries
  • Navigating European and national health products legislation
  • Shaping policy and procedures to ensure legislative compliance

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • To be considered for this post, candidates must have:
    • Relevant professional qualifications as a solicitor or barrister.
    • 1+ year post qualification experience.
    • Working knowledge of EU and Irish legislation, Irish and EU judicial systems, public administrative law.
    • Exceptional analytical skills with the capacity to analyse large volumes of data and ability to synthesize information from multiple sources to provide clear, insightful guidance in a time-sensitive environment.
    • Experience of managing and coordinating various tasks across varying data sets and information sources.
    • Proven operational and organisational skills and ability to meet tight deadlines and commitment to high quality of work, including accuracy and attention to detail, together with ability to maximise IT and communication systems.
    • Experience in drafting different legal documents in a time sensitive manner.
    • A high level of integrity and professionalism with a track record of acting with tact and discretion.
    • Evidence of very strong team-working and collaboration skills, and the ability to perform in a time pressured environment.
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written.
  • In addition to this the ideal candidate will have;
    • Experience in document management and project management
    • Experience in discovery and data management projects

This is a 1-year specified purpose contract post.
